Nan Poppe
Dr. Poppe is the former Campus President for the Extended Learning Campus at Portland Community College in Portland, Oregon. Currently Dr. Poppe is the co-chair of the Access and Affordability Working Group of the Oregon State Board of Education and provides technical assistance for the Accelerating Opportunity: A Breaking Through Initiative. She has served on several national boards of directors where the focus has been on advancing the status of continuing education, workforce development, sectoral programs and working with community-based intermediaries. Also, Dr. Poppe served as the Executive Director of the Completion By Design Assistance Team established by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She is highly regarded for her expertise in understanding and influencing local, state and federal public policy. Dr. Poppe has authored several articles, co-authored several publications/research papers, and is a contributing author as well.
