Helen Adeosun
CEO, Care Academy
Helen Adeosun is passionate about caregiving and the impact that the right caregiver can have on families. As an educator and workplace trainer, she has had a career in driving outcomes for adult learners and finding meaningful ways for them to engage in learning.
She has worked with Teach for America, Boston Public Schools, and Pearson Education as well as a number of companies focused on caregiving issues. Care Academy was born out of her own first-hand knowledge and experience as a caregiver and she hopes that Care Academy is a place to continuously learn and share. She holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in Politics and Arabic Studies, an EdM. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Education Policy and Management.
Afet Genderovskiy
Afet Genderovskiy was born and grew up in Baku, Azerbaijan. She graduated from Baku State University with a Master’s degree in linguistics of Russian. After graduation, Afet began working in Azercell LLC as a ICT/Help Desk representative. In 2010 Afet moved to the USA. After living two years in North Carolina she moved to Boston where met my husband and in 2014 gave birth to her daughter Layla. During the period of time between 2012 and 2017 Afet worked at several Russian agencies and joined Cambridge Community Learning Center in 2017 to improve her level of English. Afet works in the IT program at Just a Start and began her studies at the Bridge Program at Cambridge Community Learning Center this past September. After finishing this program she is planning to continue her studies at Bunker Hill Community College in the Department of Technology.
